Nobody was issued a ticket, but some were suprised as to their violation.

A few highlights from the meeting.

Anything you tow 12ft from the steering wheel must have lights. Wood Chipper, Compressor, welder, cement mixer.etc

Hazardous materials. All trucks carry some. Do not need special permits if carrying less than 440 lb....total. Examples of Haz Mat. Spray paint, WD40, gas, oil, propane. If you are stopped and asked if you are carrying Haz Mat. You should say yes. If you don't and any of the above are found its a $325.00 fine.

Everything must be contained and not able to move around in the truck.

Gas cans have to be tied down, and not able to move around.

All trucks must have 2 safety triangles and a fire extingusher.
